Launch Pad Opening 2012

Every season Mount Snow has the Launch Pad event. The Launch Pad event is when Mount Snow opens up their beginner chair lift slope and just litters it with rails and other freestyle features. Then they sell tickets for $10 and all proceeds go to a local charity. This year all proceeds went to the victims in New Jersey from hurricane Sandy. This year I got a chance to film with the Stalker Image crew during the event, which was a blast, check it out below.

This year they had about 16 different features including two small jumps. All of the rails were very smooth. Most of the rails were smaller in size, but they did have one line of rails that I loved. The line started off with a 20 foot corrugated tube, then a small down rail, then a longer down rail. You can watch the line in the edit above, I am the skier in brown with urban cameo pants. In general it was a blast and I cannot wait to do it again next season.
