This past weekend was the 2012 Ski and Snowboard Expo at the World Trade Center in Boston. This is the biggest ski show in the US. What this show is about, is ski companies and ski resorts come to the World Trade Center and set up tents to attract new customers to their brand or resort for the winter. There is also a section in the back where you can buy ski gear, because you cannot do so at the tents.
This year was packed with brands, however when I went there was not a lot of free give-aways. I was able to get one t-shirt, one pair of sunglasses and a few stickers. My guess is that the little kids who were there the days before cleaned out every tent, or that the companies did not bring as much stuff because of their lack of profit that they had last winter. Either way it was a fun time, and I got to see a lot of friends from back home.
