Crotched Preseason Rail Jam 2012

This past Saturday October 14, Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire hosted a rail jam. They had to ship in snow from the closest ice rinks so that they could set up two different features. The event was free so that anybody could show up, and they did. I would assume that there was about 200 skiers and snowboarders there riding the rails. The event was put on as a way to attract people to the Crotched Ski and Snowboard Swap. Their was two different lanes that a rider could chose to go down. The first lane was about a 20 foot mellow down box into a courgated pipe stall. The second lane was a 15 foot mellow down rail into a box stall. I spent most of my time working on the rail lane. The event was not a judged event, so there is no results from it, but it was a blast and there were
a lot of film crews getting after it. And it got really fun once Colin Delany talked us into setting up a butter box directly after the rail! Here is an edit that I was in from guys over at www.klulessmedia.com
